Every Building Costs something. Here is the Cost of Known and listed Buildings.
Farms - $150 Farms Produce more food, giving your existing Population Sustenance to live another day. Each Farm Produces enough food to feed 725 Citizens.
Walls - $150 Walls Provide Protection against outsiders and general weather. If you have Archers or Units Armed with Projectile Weapons, You're City's Defense will rise.
Housing - $250 Housing Provides more space to accommodate more Citizens. The More Citizens, the Larger your work force. Each Housing Can hold up to a thousand Citizens
Barracks - $500 A Barracks is an Armies Sleeping and Training Quarters without a Barracks, you can't have an Army.
Lumber Mill - $150 Lumber Mills Produce, what else, Lumber. Lumber is essential to any building, either for framing, paneling or general construction, it's a must have. Each Lumber Mill Produces 300 Pieces of Wood.
Police Station - $500 Police Stations Provide Cities with the ability to crack down on crime and clean up the streets. Without a Police Station, No City is safe from Criminal Activity or Gang wars.
School - $250 Schools Provide the Education and Social Interaction for the Youth and is essential for any City to gain more than just the bare essentials.
Mayors Office - $500 A Mayors office is very important, without one the Mayor is little more than a Title. If your City doesn't already have one any newly elected Mayor should build one or the people may start walking over them or worse.
Air Port - $750 Airports are important for any thriving City, without one, it could take hours, even days to reach any destination, with an Airport, travel would be reduced to mere hours if not minutes, making for faster, easier travel.
Helli-Pad - $750 Helipads are important for any City, Thriving or not, though really only important in the larger, thriving Cities. A helipad allows for the construction of Helicopters, which would allow your Police force or military Presence to travel from area to area within the city to quickly suppress or repel criminal or hostile elements.
Hospital - $750 What would a City be without a Hospital? I dead one, or dieing. A Hospital is the place for injured Citizens, Police and others to go. Without a Hospital, very little to no Medical Supplies will be available.
Oil Facility - $1000 Oil is an important Fossil fuel that has many uses. A City with an Oil Facility would have the ability to produce, store and sell Oil, providing for a stronger economy.
Ship Yard - $750 Ship Yards are used to produce Ships which provide either Protection, Trade, food, Transport, or just about anything else a person can thing of. A City with a Ship Yard is a City with Promise.
**Upgrading any one building costs $1000. Upgrading to lvl3 costs $2000.
